It strikes me that this week has a theme - leadership - and specifically where leadership has room to do better.
Although these articles often resonate with me, I'm always left wondering if they truly come from a place of humility and shared understanding, or if they boil down to "complaining about the boss / system". In the end of the day, they rarely suggest structural changes to "the system" - things like leaderless organizations, different means of economic distribution, employee empowerment - rather they sound like "If I was the boss, we wouldn't have these problems".
There's a reason The Who wrote, " Won't get fooled again". Because we all get fooled, again and again.
